About

We have had the croft for twenty years and have kept sheep and had vegetables and eggs for sale locally for most of that time, realising that there was a demand by visitors for seafood and home cooking, in 2010 we opend a Kiosk selling dressed crab and home made bread . Lena a local lady had a successful outside catering business but decided to close and we saw an oportunity to deliver ready to eat seafood based meals to holiday establishments in Harris. We changed the Kiosk to a shack nut retained the honesty box and increased the amount of produce available. Our policy is to only use local fish and seafood and not buy it from outwith the islands, the most abundant fish are line caught Pollack and Mackerel with creel caught crab and lobster, we can connect each fish served with each fishermsan , 2016 will see us making more use of local meat and vegetables.
