I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art with an Honours degree in Illustration and Printmaking in 1993. Since graduating I have run my own small design business, covered Scotland as territory manager for various design led gift companies, had a family and finally the chance arose to get back to my creative roots. The West Harris Trust advertised studio spaces in their new community centre (tallanamara) on the west coast of Harris and thinking about the possibilities I applied for one.
