About Us

Situated in the village of Tarbert, Isle of Harris. The Backpackers Stop is a simple but comfortable hostel for travellers. The Hostel is perfectly placed if you need somewhere to stop over for arriving /departing via the ferry. As a base for exploring Harris,or just a handy pitstop on the Hebridean Way.Close to the ferry port, public transport hub, shops and eateries.

We provide bed linen, and towels.

All dorms have usb sockets

Tea and coffee available throughout your stay.

Basic self service breakfast provided.

£25.00 per person per night*

*Private dorms from £150 per night.

Please note the Hostel is closed to all guests between 10:00am and 2pm for cleaning and maintenance.

We take no responsibility for personal belongings or injury to your person whilst staying in the hostel or the hostel grounds.
