Taigh Gorm is a newly built Hebridean cottage, completed in 2019, created to reflect its environment both internally and externally. Ornithologists, archaeologists and botanists will revel in the wealth of interesting sites to see and for those who just want to relax and absorb the peace and quiet of the Hebrides, Taigh Gorm will not disappoint.

Internally there has been a very careful attention to detail with high end furnishings and finishes. Two shower rooms for the bedrooms also adds to the comfort and luxury of what is set to become a popular holiday cottage.

North Uist has one of the Hebrides most beautiful beaches at Clachan Sands which is a short drive from Baleshare. We highly recommend you visit this astonishingly white shell beach, which contrasts with the vivid turquoise sea. There are flights from Glasgow to Benbecula from where you can car hire or you can sail from Uig, Skye to Lochmaddy from where the cottage is approximately a 20 minute drive.
