About

St Clements View has an amazing location with a panoramic vista over the Uists, the Isle of Skye, the Sound of Harris, Berneray and the village of Rodel.

The historic St Clement's church, where many choose to marry, is clearly visible from the house. For those wishing to escape to the most peaceful of places this has got to be tops - because the road goes no further. Exploring the coast beyond here must be on foot, but those who take the footpath across to the church are rewarded with the most tremendous views.

From Leverburgh, a day trip to The Uist islands is possible to see the very different nature of the two islands. The beaches on the west coast of Harris are definitely the big pull to the island with their clean sands and turquoise sea - just stunning. Even the names capture the imagination; Luskentyre, Horgabost, Seilebost and Scarista - all Norse origin, a testament to the Vikings occupancy of the islands.

Visiting the Outer Hebrides is something that no one should miss. They are like no other area of Scotland or Britain and cannot be matched in beauty, friendliness and fascination.
