About

Lickisto is a campsite with nomadic character. A well situated spot to use as a base from which to explore on foot, bike or kayak with great surfing spots nearby.

The glamping options of yurts, bell tents and a bothy come with log fires and cooking facilities. 4 electric hook ups for camper vans and a myriad of private pitches for tents either overlooking the sea loch or protected in willow glens.

The shower and toilet facilities are housed in original Blackhouses one of which has a comfortable sitting room with log fire and information on activities on the island. There is The Drift In shop on site with local crafts and fresh produce from the poly tunnel, paddle boards are available to explore the sea life of the loch and Chi Kung classes are taught daily if you feel like learning some ancient breathing techniques and longevity exercises. Or simply sit down at the ancient viking harbour and watch the otters, seals and sea eagles.
