About

The house sleeps 6 most comfortably in three bedrooms, a double, a king size and a twin bedroom with 2 x 3ft 6in wide beds. The kitchen is spacious and light and a great place for cooking, dining and planning for the next days activities. The lounge is also a spacious room with great views, a wood burning stove and plenty of comfy seating for everyone. Those who know South Uist need no introduction to those fabulous, island long, sandy beaches on the west coast and Fuidaigh is ideally situated to access them for all day long walks or just a leisurely relaxing day listening to the surf and the gulls.

Ocean View Cottages also includes Smiddy Cottage which is close to Fuidaigh and can be let in conjunction if you need to accommodate 8. Smiddy Cottage can be seen on this website.

South Uist is a most beautiful island in the southern part of the Outer Hebrides. Sailing by Calmac Ferries from Mallaig to Lochboisdale or from Uig to Lochmaddy.
