About

Immature white-tailed eagles are often found on the islands and the machair in the north-west corner of Loch Bee which can be viewed from the church car park or from Balgarva. You can also walk out on the machair from Kilaulay. Scan the island tops as birds are so large and usually sit prominently when resting. Most regular in winter and early spring but can be seen year round hunting here.
