About

Bring the beauty of Scotlands Outer Hebrides into your home with our award-winning soy wax candles, home fragrance and bath & body care. Hand-crafted by our local team on the remote Isle of Harris, our collection of luxury scents capture unique secrets of the Island; from the white sandy shores and salty sea air, to the rugged coastline and rolling peat moorlands.

Created with pure love and dedication for their island home, husband and wife duo Jamie and Deenie McGowan established Essence of Harris in 2015 so they could share the unique lure of the Isle with those across the world as well as create valuable opportunities for those living locally.

Essence of Harris is inspired by what this special faraway island has to offer, for those living here as well as those only just discovering it.

Explore what the Essence of Harris means to you, in-store at our Tarbert HQ and Glasgows Princes Square or online.
