Westend B&B Achmore. An ideal central location in the Isle of Lewis near Callanish. A warm Gaelic welcome to the Outer Hebrides is guaranteed. This B&B is situated in a quiet village and surrounded by stunning scenery: moorland, lochs, hills and breathtaking big big skies.

Westend is 10 miles from the ancient enigmatic Callanish Standing Stones and ten miles from the main town Stornoway. 

An ideal overnight for cyclists on the Hebridean Way between Tarbert and Callanish. Westend is also handy for walkers as it is midway on the Laxay to Stornoway path. Westend is in a central location on the bus route.Walkers and cyclists welcome, drying and cooking facilities provided. Lochs Services Shop is on the junction of the A858/A859 and has a range of meal ingredients. 

Westend is an excellent base for walking, climbing and fishing holidays. Magaidh’s family have lived on the land for six generations. Magaidh is a tour guide and shares, lots of historical and cultural information with guests.  

Catching an early morning ferry? Stornoway-10 minute drive and Tarbert, Harris-40 minutes
