About

The Heb Hostel is a Family run Backpackers Hostel in the centre of Stornoway, heart of the Hebrides.

Our aim is to provide comfortable and friendly accommodation at budget prices.

We are close to the Ferry terminal making us an idea start or finish to the Hebridean way. We welcome cyclists and walkers and have a bike shed and a drying room.

We are also close to the bus station and other amenities making us an ideal base for exploring our beautiful island whilst also enjoying the restaurants, bars, gift shops, museum and art centre near by.  Individuals, Families and Groups are all welcomed here.

Accommodation options include individual Dorm Beds, a Family Dorm, a Private Room (Double or Twin) and a Shepherds Hut.

Other facilities include a self-catering kitchen with tea, coffee and basic breakfast supplies.

Common room with a peat fire, electric or gas showers and a coin operated laundry.
