About

The Porpoise is closely related to whales and dolphins and is our most common sea mammal. They are slightly smaller than dolphins with shorter beaks (noses) and a shallower dorsal fin. They are most often seen in small family groups and rarely jump clear of the water.

Most likely to be seen on calm days when they can easily be spotted as they come to the surface.
