About

This service is the inter-island ferry between Harris and North Uist. This crossing takes approximately 1 hour running 7 days a week with a number of crossings at day. The ferry terminal at Leverburgh has a small waiting room with toilets and a shower, there is also a restaurant and takeaway van nearby.

If you are taking a car, you are advised to book early as the ferry can be very busy, particularly in the summer season. You are required to be at the ferry terminal at least 20 minutes prior to departure.

It is also advisable to check the ferry service status, as ferries can be delayed or cancelled due to adverse weather.
