About

The beach faces north west into the Atlantic. There is a rock stac at the left hand end of the beach and a small loch behind the beach.
Dail Beag is one of the most picturesque beaches in Lewis. Sand, rocks, cliffs and a sea stac in late afternoon and at sunset provide ideal oppourtunities for good images. Large waves often crash onto this beach, especially in winter storms

Photographers Tip

Loch Dhail Beag adjacent to the beach, has a small area of reeds and rocks.
